Bored, so figured I'd get some opinions on this. Here's mine:

Drama - 12 Angry Men (original)

Horror - The Thing

SciFi - 2001 a space odyssey

Comedy - Withnail and I

Thriller - LA Confidential
Drama - Godfather Pt 2 (was tempted to go with Shawshank, mind).

Horror - Not a big horror devotee, so I don't watch that many of them. Too much of a wuss, I suppose? I'll go for the original Halloween

Sci-fi - Close Encounters (love that film)

Comedy - Trading Places. For all sorts of reasons!

War - Where Eagles Dare

Drama - Margin Call. A great character study, set in a Stockbroker's company during a financial crash. Great cast. Irons, Bettany, Tucci, Spacey. Even Demi Moore puts in a half decent performance.

War - Black Hawk Down
Spy thriller - Bourne , Munich
Sci fi - Aliens , Avatar
Sword & Sandals - Gladiator , Kingdom of Heaven
British History - Elizabeth , Ironclad , Wind that Shakes the Barley.
Fantasy - Lotr, The Hobbit, Solomon Kane
Horror - Underworld.
Action - Blood Diamond, Mad Max 2 ,Apocalypto
Gangsta - Godfather 1/2

Action, 55 Days in Peking.
Christmas, It's a Wonderful life.
War, The Dambusters
War fiction, Operation Burma / anything American.
Sci fi, Alien/ Jurassic Park.
Fiction, Titanic.
Family, Jack Frost.
