Embarrassing attempt to try and glamourise hooligism (if that's a word) and that's from a Hammers fan. Seen Cass Pennant outside the ground trying to sell his merchandise, books about the ICF etc, just makes me realise what a sad c*nt he is. I'm not proud of our so called firm one bit.

I doubt they are too bothered about your opinion Mark, Cass is making a tidy few quid peddling his tales of yesteryear. You obviously weren't around when it was quite handy to be following a club with a decent firm, rest assured you would have been glad of their presence on plenty of occasions if you had. It's all consigned to history now, just a few old dinasaurs and young pretenders still rallying for the cause but the stakes are too high now for anyone with a brain.

Films like GS don't come near to telling it like it was, the only film that is anything like close is the original of The Firm with Gary Oldman and even that's stretching it a bit.

Seems to be a lot of people who think it's the worse film ever but go into detail to suggest they've watched it more than once.

It aint a documentary. It's a bit of fun. People won't be slagging off the new Star Wars film because its not realistic.

It was never in danger of cleaning up at the Oscars but I thought it was entertaining and a bit of harmless fun anyway.

the only good thing about the movie was, when i saw it at the cinema, during the first fight scene a voice from the back of the cinema pipes up "I'll save you Mr Frodo" in a passable samwise accent. Pissed myself.

the film itself is a bunch of arse.

its poorly scripted with a cliche a minute, its poorly acted with wooden performances, as they all adopt a mean moody hard man stare. Frodo is terrible casting, and struggles to smoke a cigarette convincingly. The dialogue is toe curlingly embarrassing with "you slag" added to every sentence - and Ive probably watched 30 mins of it in 3 ten minute sessions.

As a man said, the Football Factory is oscar winning by comparison.

Great film!

The acting is superb and Charlie Hunman really does nail the cockney accent bang on. The fight scenes are very realistic, especially where Elijah Woods is involved, it really brings football hooliganism to life. My favourite part, was when the West Ham fans had to alight at Macclesfield and they got past the Scum fans by using the white van to pose as Hollywood film crew, how cunning and witty! How this film didn't win an oscar I do not know!

I usually watch the film before match day to get me g'd up!

Agree about the cliche and acting, base of a decent film, prefer football factory

Same mate! - At least with football factory they haven't tried to make it serious, football factory is a shit film but it's funny to watch and you have to take it for what it is, where as green street they've tried to hard to make it serious and it just doesn't work!
