Gregory van der Wiel

He was good, but Elia was spectacular. Made Angel Di maria look like a thord division player in comparison. Been watching this lad since he played against us for FC Twente in the UEFA a couple of seasons ago. Now he's at our feeder club, Hamburg. Get him in! Could potentially be better than both Silva and Di Maria, for half the money

Another one that we should have bought last year when we had the chance, would have only cost us a fraction of the cash that it will now.

Hey ho, not our money.

Great player, same as you I kept an eye on him after the Twente game.

Love him at city be a brilliant signing. Real and Barca want him though so we probably have no chance, but as always we should at least try !

Barca want us to pay £45 million for Alves so they can then sign him for £15 - £20 million max. Like for like replacement, younger, better attitude and under half the wages.

Another case of Barca wanting to rape us within an inch our our life in the transfer market, sign a better younger player for less money, read Ibra > Torres, Toure > Fabragas etc. IS it any wonder we are taken for mugs when it comes to transfers ?

Some people might be happy with this but I am certainly not. Barca are skint they cant do it unless we are stupid enough to go along with it.

He had a brilliant game today, he almost looked like a midfielder the way he kept breaking forward with the ball, great pace and passing, defending and decision making looked good to,

very cool calm customer on the ball.
