You’re right. What he said is true. I just find him somewhat egotistical. But on the content, what he said was /is true. (Couldn’t help noticing how he mentions his first television award though).

4 Million in the UK and 2 billion globally, hardly a minority, but its a faith with a .001 likely percent to be involved with the grooming gangs.
The lack of action is due to the involvement of the uber rich and elite in this kind of abuse not wanting someone to link them to this.
Around 216,000 children went missing in 2024, that's on top of roughly 136,000 who went missing in 2023.

Are those numbers of missing children for the UK only?

I don't doubt the involvement of some "uber rich or elite" people in grooming, but I doubt if there are links between such groups and groups involved in grooming gangs in Rochdale.

The grooming gangs investigation followed the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s cover up into MP Cyril Smith and alleged paedophilia ring of powerful and influential figures.
Easy to imagine anyone investigating the groomers being influenced to drop it with "wasting your time" directions from seniors.
Hopefully any culture in the police and other authorities pressurising turning a blind eye has been quashed.
 
When the then leader of the Liberal party says “So Cyril spanked a few bottoms, so what?” what chance has PC Plod got?
