Group A: Champions League

Credit to spurs for going through and winning their group. The group looked harder in paper, but the truth is Inter has a clown as a manager and Bremen has been going through crisis. But atleast they will win their group unlike us.

But one thing that really bugs me is how easy of a rid Spurs get with the media. I was listening to talksport when one of their pundit said gallas has been a great signing for them and now Spurs has better defence than Arsenal. But the numbers dont add up. We have played same amount of games in all competitions and they have conceded 9 goals more. Gallas is seen as great signing and Koscielny is seen as not up to the PL.

Have you not notice all the media love Twitcher and Tottenham they never have bad word for them....look at all the press since the beginning of this league and you will be hard pressed to find any Negative articles on Twitcher and Spurs!
 
Totally disagree.
Spurs had the hardest group in the Champions League.
They were in pot 3 & had drew the holders, the top ranked side from pot 2 & the 2nd highest ranked team from pot 4.

No arguments whatsoever from me.

Great achievement. No getting away from it. Good luck to them. Distracts them from the league & finishing 4th.
 
I don't get it. The media keep telling me what a great season Spurs are having and how we are struggling??????? Shows the love of Twitcher by the London biased media.

Seriously if any foreign manager had been accused of what Harry has, do you think the media would completely ignore it? I mean he has charged with a crime. Im not saying he is guilty, but we all know had that been the media would bring it up everyday
 
I absolutely despise tottenham but they deserve credit, first time in Champions League and they have really gone about it the right way, winning a tough group scoring two goals or more in every game and showing their credentials. They've arrived on the European stage in the perfect way really. If we had achieved what they have we would be going on and on about why we weren't getting enough credit for it so this thread is a bit naive. We have Juventus away to determine whether we can finish top of our Europa group, we beat Juventus away and no doubt there will be a post on here about how the media keep stating Juventus are not the same club and how we deserve more credit! The longer the spuds stay in it the worse they will do in the league so I hope they go all the way to the semi before they are knocked out!
 
I hate spurs with a passion but they have done very well to finish at the top of that group and have had some good results in the CL. Anybody who disagrees must be extremely bitter. Saying Spurs won the group because inter are now average is like saying city will now finish in the top 4 because other teams have dropped their standards.

being an Inter fan sadly i'm well legitimate to say : in the last months Inter has been less than average , how the serie a table clearly show.
