Guardiola confirms intention to stay at City for next two years P123

The only way I can see Pep doing a runner and leaving City mid contract is if he feels he has been misled by the club's Hierarchy especially over FFP. Which then leads to us getting a CL ban. Clearly a ban doesn't automatically mean he would feel he has been misled as this is UEFA we are talking about.
 
Might be nothing, but the Agnelli family, Juventus' owners, are the main driver of the breakaway Champions League format.

Considering the amount of negative reporting which has taken place of City in recent weeks, it is not a stretch at all that they have motive for planting this stuff now.

It could well be Pep has expressed a future interest in managing in Italy and also Juventus, but it smacks of some motive to put the cart before the horse and unsettle City in the process.

Strangely, Abu Dhabi had/has a major stake in Ferrari owners, Fiat, the Agnelli crown jewel, so it would seem strange that Mubadala aren't able to make a call.
