Guardiola confirms intention to stay at City for next two years P123

I'm a woman,we are always right lol

I’m not sure that’s quite right but I would agree that in any argument I’ve ever had with a women - even when I’ve been in the right I’ve still lost the argument.

I think you will be disappointed to be honest.

Yeah, it does seem like an unlikely transfer. I'm sure you all can relate to the irrational hope one feels in these kinds of situations though.
I'm really just hoping that our club hasn't tried something as mad as appointing Sarri. I would also be happy if it was Pochettino, you know.

I can relate to the irrational hope! However, on this occasion, I don't think there's any more to it than hope.

If you read my first post in this thread you can clearly see I was here looking for inside infos, and that I said that while I hope for Pep (who wouldn't?) I'm not sure about anything. I then stayed to reply to a few people that quoted me and had a fairly nice and civil chat with your moderators. I also deterred another Juve fan that appeared from flaming and trolling on here.
If you read my posts, you'll find that I'm neither gloating nor insulting anyone, and I didn't come here to create alarmism. With all respect, I wouldn't lose my time just to fight with opposing fans online.

You speak better English than most on here. Are you based in Italy?

It sure will be a joke on someone guys, we just have to wait and see whom.

there's only one who will be disappointed here mate. There's more chance of comet hitting Old Trafford and Anfield at same time, than pep coming to Turin. Unfortunately though. I'll be happy for you to have Pep in that case.

- Hope, which is a very strong drug ;)
- the same sources/gurus that told us about Ronaldo way before mainstream media caught notice of rumours
- a bunch of rumours, little evidences and some journalists who are very sure of what they say
- Juve's stock market behaviour and the fact that a lot of sources seem to come from the finance field
- the fact that managers and players have lied before and since he isn't my coach, I don't hold him to any standards and I don't expect a certain behaviour from him.

It could all be a great case of fake news, but we can't help but hope.

This is a very reasonable and articulate exposition of the Juve fans' position. Thank you.

My feeling is that he'll stay with City for now but that you may get him once he leaves. I'd suspect that might be next summer if we get a CL ban and can't challenge it successfully before the CAS, or otherwise in a couple of years, when his contract is up (I'd love him to stay longer here than 2021 but I think we'd be lucky if that happened). After all, he seems to like Italy as a country and he's spoken in the past of Serie A as a league he'd like to coach in. And, from afar, Juve seems by far the best bet for him over there in terms of him being able to work in the way and produce the type of football he likes to.

As for Sarri, it occurred to me that he could be a kind of place-holder who might be in situ while you wait for Pep to become free, like Pellegrini was for us for three seasons from 2013. Do you think there's any possibility of that? As for Pochettino, I agree that he'd be a great appointment for you. If City did have to replace Pep now or next summer, I'd be devastated but would probably regard Poch as being as good a replacement as we could get in the circumstances.
