I knew some genius would make a proper chant out of that tune. I heard it in the pub on thursday while having a quiet pint and even before it got to the chorus i was humming, "Guardiola" to myself.
 
I'd like to think we could come up with a new chant, but I suspect somebody will blast out a current chant with his name in it, and it will stick.
 
Was listening to this the other day and thought Guardiola's name fits perfectly with this and it's got the Manchester connection too. I think the chorus on its own ringing around the stadium is enough on it's own but I added a few verses just for fun(feel free to have a crack at your own).

I've always thought this old tune would suit a football chant/song but have never heard it adopted, nearest was probably the old Viking chant (circa mid 70's, Norwich away in particular)
Anyway, surely someone can slot Pep's name into this and create something appropriate, it could easily catch on I think..
