Kompany a goner for me. Just can't continue with his injury record. No room for sentiment. Only issue is, who would buy him with his record

Now you are beginning to se the long view :) Laporte, Stones.
 
A centre back, two central midfielders, winger and a left back are all needed.
 
In: Laporte, Gundogan, Stones, Gaya/Cresswell, Pogba, Griezmann, Chamberlain, Fabinho, Sane
Out: Toure, Kolarov, MDM, Zabaleta, Delph, Bony, Nasri, Navas, Managala

I know its a lot of changes but some good sound English players to help with the quota but also in Pogba and Griezsmann some top quality. The squad needs a huge overhaul.

I'd say Mangala stay and Kompany out. Also Nasri still have a lot to show. I'd keep him. But otherwise I agree.
 
After last night I've changed my mind:

IN: Laporte, Gundogan, Gaya, Sebastian Jung, Pogba, Sane, Aubameyang £270m
OUT: Bony, Yaya, Delph, kolarov, Zab, Kompany, Wright, Demi, Zucchini, Nasri, Navas - £75m

It's a lot of money but money we need to spend if you ask me.

Well that depends on whether we keep Otamendi and Mangala. I'd keep Kompany as long as he wants to be here, he's earned that right.

There is no such thing as a right, but sure of he can play half the games. His injuries have proven chronic. At best he is oue Ledley King. Can't depend on him. Think more of him as a super sub.

We shouldn't depend on him. We should build a defence without relying on him. But he's such a key player that, if he's fit, should get games.
 
Kompany will be a bonus player for City when hes fit basically. Because everyone knows he will get crocked next year also, so will be in and out from the selection. Which is not a bad situation necessarily if we bring Laporte and Stones in.

Mangala or Otamendi to go, probably Mangala is more likely to go.

Dude this isn't football manager and no offence the balance of that team is all over the place. Firstly Aubameyang doesn't even play on the right and i doubt they will sell him too with hummels and gundogan both leaving. He stated that when he moves he wants to go to spain anyway. Secondly Laporte is left footed so playing him as a rcb is stupid. Thirdly Gundogan is not a cdm, he plays best as a cam. Fourthly Sane won't come here to sit on the bench

CB:Otamendi,Mangala,Laporte,Kompany,
Denayer

LB: Alex Telles, Clichy

CDM:Kondogbia,Fernando

RW: Mane,Silva(plays there for spain),Navas

LW: Nolito,Sterling

ST: Aguero, Iheanacho

Harry Kane but the likelihood of him being available is pretty much nil so possibly Morata, Aubameyang or another top striker.

So new signings at LB, RB, 2 CM's and a striker.

Move on Kolarov, Demichelis, Zabaleta (with a heavy heart), Fernando, Delph, Toure, Bony.
