I think we can move up to 6. Your list plus Yaya and Kolarov. Whatever we do, we need to rid ourselves of Kolarov. He is the weakest link in the chain. Perhaps weaker than Demi.

In terms of improving us by substraction: Kolarov, Demi, Yaya and Kolarov. Those 3 must go for us to improve. Everyone else could play a part and still be fine. Sadly Kompany is #4 in my mind. As he negatively impacts us by getting injured and forcing a breakup in the CB partnership, only to come back and breakup whatever was developing while he was out.

It better we find 2 starters who play mist games and get them to develop from the beginning.

But that's the unemotional tactician in me. I expect the team to keep him though. Great service and all. But he shouldn't be Capt. That way he doesn't have starting rights. Play him as needed.

Agreed. I just can't see us getting rid of Kolarov unless its a loan to Italy whilst we still pay him. Same with Bony but back to Swansea.

My main worry is that we completely need to revamp and upgrade our midfield and only signing Gundogan is a risk considering his injury record.
 
Sell the fucking lot. Except Kolarov and Bony. We should keep them two, for comedy value alone!

Kola, Demi, Yaya, Bony. These 4 hurt us. I'd even take a 2 year loan with the other team paying on Kolarov. He must go.

Lots of players should be going but some will have to stay coz we won't be able to offload them or bring in enough. These aren't good enough for our ambition - Demi, Delph, Kolarov, Yaya, Mangala, Bony, Navas, Zaba and or Sagna.

4 or 5 max will come in. And if we're not in CL, Mourinho will take the best ones to Utd. Our transfer record has been total shte since 2012, except KDB.

Sad fact is that this squad will two years to rebuild - 3 transfer windows - and that's with the guarantee of CL.

This is something we've planning for over two years and Pep will want/demand much better players in midfield and defence. We will also need some proper support/competition for Aguero. Out: Yaya, Bony, MDM, Zab., Kolarov, Delph, Mangala, Nasri, Caballero, Fernando and Zuccilini

Total: 155 to 160 for Incoming. Reckon we can get about 80 for outgoing. 80 million Euros total spend.
 
Pep will be keen to test our squad's ability to keep possession. Currently there aren't many that can comfortably do that. He'll have drawn up a list of targets which enable us to control games by keeping the ball as much as possible. He'll sort out positions all over the pitch where this isn't the case. I expect 3 big names and a further 3 top quality younger players as well as some academy promotion. I'd agree with most of the names mentioned already in terms of those going out. Nasri is the one I'm least sure on. I think he could possibly stay, he's excellent on the ball and under Pep he can work in that midfield role because the idea will be to squeeze the opposition when we don't have the ball and win it high up the pitch. The usual formations and the rigid lineups we're used to seeing will go out of the window with Pep.

We will be spending 150 plus net in my opinion. Pounds not euros.

Absolutely dreaming but I think Alaba would be my number 1 signing. Can't see him wanting to leave but that's LB, CB and CM all sorted in 1 transfer and will have a good 8 years at the highest level.
