Guidetti's contract allegedly guarantees him a place in the first team squad and Weiss looks our best winger at the minute.

I suppose the fact they didn't cost money will work against them in the eyes of some of our fans. "Not good enough for where we want to go" blah blah blah.

Swp won't be at city come start of the season IMO. Weiss may get his squad place or he may end up on loan again and we sign another winger. Who can say at the moment.

Don't know what you've been watching but Guidetti hasn't been as good as Dzeko. He may have scored a goal more than Dzeko, but his performances have not been close to Dzeko's level.

I agree. That doesn't mean I think Giudetti has been bad or anything. After the first match, I've been very impressed especially considering age and all.

Guidetti and Dzeko are two entirely different types of strikers and you need both.

Having said that, I have been really impressed with Guidetti's power-through approach. If he keeps it up, he will draw a lot of penalties. Further, there are some types of strikers that you just can't get the ball off of because they run you over. I won't invoke the Shrek-one here, but Guidetti possess some resemblance.
