Guidetti Unsettled At Stoke

Trouble is how can he possibly get a chance now that Jovetic is making up the fab four.

Mancini didn't rate him and neither does pellers. I don't buy this long term injury malarkey restricting his chances at city either. It's coming up to six years since he signed. The wait has gone on far to long. Not going to happen I'm afraid.

No it's correct.

Those who think Guidetti will make it as a Premier League footballer are deluded.

I wouldn't say MP doesn't rate him, he tried to take him on loan at Malaga after all.

It's more of a case as playing Gudetti is a big gamble for us at this moment in time while we're challenging on all fronts.

Had he fully recovered and had a good preseason under his belt then I'm in no doubt he'd have got game time in the cups and the odd appearance from the bench.

Going out on loan gives him the opportunity of regular 1st team football and work on his match fitness and gearing up for a make or break season next year.

The boss has seen enough and the lad hasn't got what we want. Simple as that really

Well 20 goal in 23 games for Feyenoord in 11/12 tells me he has a chance! ... How the long-term illness and injuries have affected him only time will tell ...

Been recovering from a lengthy injury no preseason & it would be surprising if he hasn't taken a few steps back from the player he was before his illness and needs game time. There was noway with our options he'd get much if any game time and was always likely to go on loan in this window. Simple as that really.
The kid has ability he scored plenty in the Dutch league maybe not the greatest league but its a good standard, wasn't that long ago Ajax made mugs of us. He is very highly thought of within the game has been for a long time even before his Feyenoord exploits you don't get that kind of reputation/admiration and retain it if you haven't got something about you.

Not saying he's gonna be world class he may never recover proper from his illness but think a lot of people on here do him a disservice. Some of you may have written him off but I'm sure Pellers hasn't yet, why send him to a premier league team to flop? Doesn't make sense on so many levels.
