I'm curious too... So if anyone has some news it will be nice sharing them with us :D
He has almost recovered from his sickness and it looks like he will be deffo start training again this month. He looks a bit chubbier nowadays :)

I'm not sure if he has gained a bit of weight or if it's because of the medicine. Some of the medicines could cause some swelling in the face.
Magazine has come out today. I don't have the full interview yet but here are some quotes so far.

''Seeing Feyenoord for the first time was identical to when I saw Sanna (my girlfriend), it was love at first sight. I guess the love was mutual as well'

''Long before I signed, supporters bombarded me with messages that I had to come and join the club. That's when I thought I'm not just joining any other club but a great club''

''People that are saying that I'm saying this to be liked don't have a clue what I'm talking about, they don't know the feeling. They would probably also not know me really, I'm already popular in Rotterdam''

''I felt like the King of Rotterdam because that's how people made me feel. When I went out in town to have dinner, i hardly ever had to pay. I also didn't have to pay for clothes, drinks and when I kindly refused and just wanted to pay, they were even getting angry with me. It was unbelievable, I still think about Feyenoord every single day''

''Until the day of my return to Feyenoord comes, I'll cherish the great memories I have. I'm saying this because I'm certain I will once play again for Feyenoord...or even better: It's my dream to wear the Feyenoord shirt once again. Since my injury I know how unpredicatable life can be so making promises is something that I cannot do, but I swear with the hand on my heart that it's my intention to return''

''On the 28th of October I will be coming over to the Feyenoord - Ajax game. I just have to be at that game. Hopefully I will be able to stand as a fan, alongside the other fans. I know what that games means to the people in Rotterdam. Last year my father was always sitting next to a big guy who was always intensely involved but against Ajax he couldn't keep his mouth shut for one second, until I scored the 4-2 just before fulltime. My father was surprised that he didn't hear him, looked over and saw him crying his eyes out, so my father joined in. Almost everybody cried that afternoon, that's how important these games are''

''The chances of me returning on loan in the winter is very very small. Mancini has already told me that he want to see me play in either the Premier League, Bundesliga or Primera Division. The club wants to see me delivering the same performances as last season in a stronger league. I know for myself that I'm absolutely capable of doing that. Nothing can stop me, nobody can hold me back, it doesn't matter what else crosses my path, whether it's another injury or Jan Vertonghen (Ajax defender last year, now Spurs), I will be scoring my 3 goals pretty soon again''

I hope to get my hands on the rest on the interview asap.

He's the most cockiest footballer I've seen for a while..

Hope he'll manage to put "the money" where his mouth are.
Not really he just seems confident

Wish more footballers were like him, he seems a top guy.

Alright, I have the full interview now so here are some interesting bits. The whole interview is way too long for me to translate everything.

''I'm glad to be back. I can run, dribble, speed up and shoot again. If it was up to me, I would play a match right now. We have however decided to build things up slowly. City keep telling me that a few weeks patience doesn't kill me after being out for 6 months. Ofcourse I know they're right. I survived hell so now I shouldn't really moan to much''

''Everything went wrong on my birthday of all days. My girlfriend Sanna had arranged a surpriseparty. She had done a great job because all of my family and friends were there. I still remember being really happy when I looked around the room. But when the night progressed I started feeling worse and worse. I thought I had a little flu and that it would be over within a couple of days. A day later I started throwing up and thought it was a stomach flu and it would take a bit longer. I stayed at home for the rest of the week and reported back for training the next monday. The boys had just beaten ADO den Haag the previous day and just had a little run out. I didn't participate and stayed indoors to do some light fitness work after being out for the week. I was walking on the treadmill and that's when suddenly my leg snapped and lost all feeling in my leg. One of the fysio told me to keep calm and asked me to just get up and sit down on the treadmill but I couldn't do it.''

''Everybody became really worried when it happened. I wasn't even too concerned. I even said on the way to the hospital that I would play the upcoming weekend. When we arrived at the hospital and did the tests I could see from the doctors faces that they were quite worried. The doctors called in a couple of specialists afterwards to look at my situation, Phillip Barry (Cityclub doctor) was also called over to Rotterdam, that's when I knew that it was really serious.''

''At the end of the tests the doctors concluded that I had food poisoning and that a virus had touched my nerve system. The doctors said to me that I must have had rotten chicken in the days before.''

''I had a lot of dreams for the upcoming months. I wanted to win the league with Feyenoord, shine at the Euro's for Sweden and break through at Man City or another big club in Europe. I was conviced that I would succeed in achieving these goals. I cried a lot during that time and had to accept my faith.''

''Shortly after all the trouble I took my girlfriend on a short holiday to Turkey. I couldn't do any excercises so we could as well relax a little bit. At the end of the holiday the Galatasaray - Fenerbahce was being played and it would almost decide the championship. I begged my girlfriend to come and watch the game with me in the stadium. I had already arranged tickets and I couldn't keep away from football. Whenever football is on TV, I just have to watch. Some Turkish reporters saw me in the stadium and concluded that I was moving to Galatasaray. I didn't and still don't care about the rumours. I just wanted to see some football. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of football again. I remember there were a lot of fights at the end of the game and we had to stay in the stadium for 4 hours. I was glad that I finally saw a game of live football again and felt the adrenaline. It was ideal therapy for me and was also the start of my recovery.''

Guidetti showed me his leg with the left leg being a lot bigger than the right.
''I had lost all feeling in my right leg. My leg is getting stronger and stronger every day. It was really bad a few months ago when my right leg was just a few centimeters wide. Right now I don't see a lot of difference anymore for myself until I came into the Man City dressing room. Everybody was shouting ''Fucking Hell John, look at your leg''. That's when you get a bit scared and think back about a few months earlier.''

''When Feyenoord's club doctor Casper van Eijk says that this was a career threatening situation I can confirm he is right, even though I never personally felt that way. I always felt that I would be back and in the end you can say I am lucky to be back. A few millimeters was the difference of full recovery or never being able to play professional football again.''

''In the end now I know that you cannot put a price on health. I can say that it was hard for me at the start. I separated myself from the outside world, became a homebody. It was only me, my father, my girlfriend and a few family members. The support I got helped me find my feet again. I really want to thank the Feyenoord squad, Manager Ronald Koeman, the fans and the City players. These people showed that they really care about me and helped me back up. These terrible 6 months don't even come close now to the fantastic 10 months I had with Feyenoord. I have enjoyed every single second in Rotterdam. It was definitely the best time of my life.''

So in the end I ended up translating 85% because it was a great interview. He hopes to play his first game with the Man City reserves within the next 2 weeks
