Gundogan tests positive for Coronavirus

I did a test before a hospital admission in June and had the results in about 2 hours.

There would have been onsite testing facilities in your case. The Premier League clubs have to send their tests by courier to a private facility in London. During project restart, the guidance was that tests should be confirmed within 48 hours of sample being taken.

Do you not have anything better to do instead of trying to start things with forum members all the time?

Go outside and yell at a cloud or something, Christ. Give it a rest.
As a poster above said, it takes someone special to make fun of a player from a team they purport to support who has contracted a killer virus.

Your comment was pathetic and juvenile and from the responses you have been getting, I think my assertion was spot on

How on Earth can our game go ahead tonight now?

Surely the full squad (and anyone he's been in contact with) needs to be in quarantine?
Its all bollocks pal
the same where i and especially my mrs works ( ITU )
if they followed that procedure, all wards especially covid ITU and CCU wards would have been permenantly shut since March

Sorry, this isn't true. It's far quicker than that. And yes, he won't have been in contact with any other players since before testing. That's sort of the point...

You're wrong. Some tests may come back quicker, but they are usually between 24-48 hours. Which means that he could have taken the test on Saturday. If that's the case, anyone he has had contact with since he swabbed for the previous test could carry the virus. Which will be every player in the squad as they are currently contact training and the previous test would have been Tuesday.

What is the testing procedure?
The test consists of two parts. The first involves taking a swab of the nose and the back of the throat, which is done in less than a minute. These are conducted at drive-through stations. The samples are sealed and couriered to The Doctors Laboratory, a private facility in London. The analysis done there represents step two and is fed back to the Premier League clubs. Results can be delivered within 48 hours.
No specific details as to clubs or individuals that test positive will be provided by the league due to legal and operational requirements.

Get a life, seriously. If you don't like something, ignore it or use the block function instead of whinging incessantly.

The point being made is that you’re a shit fan if you mock & celebrate the fact that one of our players has tested positive for a serious illness. So why are you surprised when more loyal fans get pissed off by people like you.
