Funny as I bumped into Felix N’Mecha in the Arndale yesterday and he was going about his business as normal. He’s in the first team bubble but I guess they’ve got to be treated like adults and can’t be locked up 24/7. However, the more they’re out and about the greater the risk.

This is third player to catch the virus. Something is obviously going wrong within the club. Either the players are not following the guidelines from the government or some member of the training staff is a carry of the virus and is a symptomatic.

The club doctor should be all over this and arrange for all the playing staff as well as all the trainers and other back room staff to get tests as soon as it is practical to do so. We do not need any more players to come down with this virus.

I wish all our players who have caught this virus a speedy recovery. I also hope and pray that there will be no more of our players who will come down with this Covid19 virus

Seems to be going round the dressing room in much the same way as a cold now. Don't suppose we are much different to any other football club or society as a whole. Can't see more than a few weeks before the league is suspended again.

You think, apparently the word put out by the PL was that even if the whole team goes down fixtures will go ahead.

hope he does get better soon and his family stays safe, we have to remember it's not just the players affected
strangely enough he is actually lucky that he doesn't have to go through the unorganised chaos that is the public testing system

so this is positive test #3 for us, there will be more in the future with another wave and winter heading our way.
this season will be a strange one full stop, although it was funny watching Palace beat the rags I think we could be in the same boat for the first 3-4 games as we are way behind in our prep. Add to this going forward that all teams will lose players to this virus over the course of the season, this could mean one of the most mixed up seasons in terms of results and positions for a while

it's a sign of 2020 that people at at each other's throats, people are just fed up of a shite year so far and are dealing with it in a number of ways (anger, humour, pessimism etc) with another lockdown not being far away, people that are following the guidelines getting more pissed off with people not following them it's just getting worse
