That was because we were still negotiating with the 3rd parties though. Pretty sure he was stuck unable to train with us after Porto agreed to sell him but 3rd parties were being awkward.

Don't see City announcing anything on a bank holiday anyway. Wouldn't surprise me if we were waiting to tie up another deal so we can announce a couple at once.

He signed the contract a while ago and he's already filmed the interview for CityTV, so it's a case of when the club announce it now. I imagine it'll be pretty soon.
