Consider buying a weights bench and some weights from ebay, if youve got room. And do some running. Much cheaper than gym membership.

In my gyms days, I was a member at the Aquatics Centre on Oxford Road. Can't remember the exact cost but it was pretty reasonable and always do special rates for students.
