ha ha everton have won the cup

Put it this way.

If Everton played like that every week they would be 2nd in the table now. Then their fans would truly have something to celebrate and crow about.

When you've witness at first hand the continual moaning, whinging, bleating, questioning every of decision, and the berating of the officials and City players for 90 minutes, you wouldn't give a f*** about Everton and their fans either.

It's strange isn't it. Go to Anfield and there's nowhere near as much animosity and hostility towards the City players and fans. You'D think there would be wouldn't you? If any club bar Arsenal has suffered at the hands of Sheikh Mansour and his money, it's Liverpool FC.

And let me remind the apologists on here. This *hatred* from Everton fans stems form us buying Lescott and the antics of Moyes afterwards. Nothing else. Up to that point Everton fans had no interest in City apart from hating Mancs.("It's full of shit, shit, and more shit, oh Manchester is full of....) The fact that Kenwright was more than happy to take the money and run speaks volumes. Even ignoring the pleas of Moyes. And without that cash injection where would Everton FC be now financially. Exactly.

No issue for me with Everton on the pitch yesterday. Totally outplayed us, taught us a lesson (again!) and thoroughly deserved their win.

But the chairman drying his weeping eyes? Wtf?

How old are you genuine question

We haven't become arrogant but our expectations have been rightly raised with the money pumped in.

What we are as a club, is the local, fairly popular kid suddenly made good.We are the workmate everyone liked who has suddenly won the lottery and as a result other teams fans are confused as to how to react to us.We are also confused at our new found status and good fortune. We cannot win really and are damned if we do,damned if we don't.Like the rags this will in time create a siege like mentality and a ''Fuck them all!'' attitude.I just hope we keep our self depreciating humour and humility along the way,but it is going to be a rough ride.

Re: ha ha everton have still won more cups than City.

This is really, really poor form from City fans. It stinks of bitterness. People need to look up what bitterness means, as it isn't synonymous with jealousy.

Can I ask how you guys celebrated your penalty shoot out win against Gillingham in 1999? Did you tone down your celebrations because you were such a massive club at the time? Or, did you ACTUALLY celebrate as if you had won the cup at Wembley? I'm sure I will get a load of honest answers on that one.

You became the richest club in the world overnight, and that is what you are unfortunately, the most richest club in the world! And I'm afraid that beating the richest club in the world is a pretty big 'scalp' for most teams these days.

A lot of you are ignoring the week that preceeded our victory over you yesterday (It was shit, and many Evertonians had been at each other's throats). You're the current champions of England and we beat you 2-0 with 10 men. Why shouldn't we celebrate?

And what was it about our celebrations that supposedly likened them to our celebrations when we have won trophies? It seems that what you are referring to is a loud cheer and a few lads hugging their mates. If that's how you celebrate your trophies then I think you need some lessons on how to party!

As for Kenwright and his crocodile tears, there's no surpise on that one. I'm surprised he hasn't come out and told everyone that Dixie Dean featured in his dream the night before and told him that we would win 2-0. He is full of shit, and a bad, cringeworthy actor. So no surprise there.

The main thread on Grand Old Team forum at the moment is entitled 'All is not forgiven', with loads of Evertonians venting their frustration about how the quarter final was a more important game than yesterday.

We were a million miles away from celebrating as if we had won the cup yesterday. There has been no roof top bus parade, and it won't be something we will be telling our grandchldren about. Do you know why? Because we beat City pretty regularly, and it isn't quite the big deal to us that you think it is (want it to be).

43 been there and done it over the years, us and you where once similar, yes there was a bit of nastiness over lescott but that's gone, most would have him back.
I sat next to you lot yesterday and thought it was quite good banter unlike when the fuckers from across our park and your mates come, then it gets nasty with hatred.

Good summary, we would be the same, we have Evertonians quoting they would hate to be bought like you and you know what that is bullshit, although the day we get strangers turning up with cameras and funny accents asking for directions will hurt too if it ever happened
