Seems to me, the family who got the ball did the right thing and the club also appear to be about to do the same. If so, a win, win all round. Beautiful in the current climate.

It was a little girl and it was great catch.


On a side note the actual hat-trick ball was down by the side of pitch near Walker. Walker had the ball-boy swap it as a bit of gamesmanship towards the end.
 
At the end of the match some City player hoofed the ball sky high over me, ie East Stand. Never saw it being returned. Has Erling missed his first match ball? Does someone have it up his jersey somewhere disguised as a beer gut?

What constitutes a match ball? Pretty sure we have 7 in total including those around the pitch, so not sure what the big deal is.
 
I thought Bernardo was awesome today. He looked dead towards the end. I thought Mahrez is not fit.
 
Why young girl returning the matchball will be great for Liverpool.

woke up this morning ,sober.
just felt at the time the ball.should of been thrown back,perhaps it is really important for haaland on his first City ( hatrick ,3 goals in a game ;-) ).
i know there is more than 1 ball ready to be in play during a game but feel/ thought the last kicked during a game was the one the player really wants to have,maybe walker was daft for doing it .
glad your daughter is getting a treat in return now anyway.
