ha, had the same feeling mainly because it was against the dippers. It’s weird but pretty much all of Haalands missed penalties, I felt he would miss. It’s kind of written on his face when he is going to miss.
I agree. For me he was the best. Balotelli was brilliant as well but Balotelli relied on waiting for the keeper to move, which carried some risk. Elano just blasted into the side netting every...single...time. Completely unsavable no matter what the keeper did.I came on to mention Elano, he was mustard at pens
I completely expected it yesterday, but maybe that was just my nerves kicking in.It’s weird but pretty much all of Haalands missed penalties, I felt he would miss. It’s kind of written on his face when he is going to miss.
RodriJust thinkin
Does anybody else apart from Yaya Toure have a 100% record with City
Or indeed any one got a career 100% record ?
Ray Stewart.Le Tissier 47/48
Ivan Toney 48/50
The two best that come to mind. They had different well-documented methods, but both concentrated on a clean, powerful strike and on giving the ball some air.
Missed against Boro in Full Member CupAgreed Shearer was a brilliant striker of a dead ball.
Dont forget Mark Ward,at City under Kendall.used to give that ball some violence from a spot kick.
Saw him do it many times for City, the best was away at Anfield 2-2 draw. Prob the best City penalty I've ever seen( till Nunez v utd!) Ward hit the ball so hard from a penalty it nearly took grobelaars face off.Brutal.
Mark Ward was half the size of Shearer but he packed just as much power into his penalty shots.
Rodri actually scored from one of the worst penalties imaginableRodri
Balotelli was cool as a cucumber. Don't recall him ever missing one. If Aguero had gone down in that epic moment and we had been awarded a pen (no guarantees there as we well know) I think he would have slotted it home to win the titleJust thinkin

76/86 - impressive. Makes you wonder who was winning all these penalties for them. I mean, that's a lot.Ray Stewart.
That's all that game lacked, really - a bit of drama at the end.Balotelli was cool as a cucumber. Don't recall him ever missing one. If Aguero had gone down in that epic moment and we had been awarded a pen (no guarantees there as we well know) I think he would have slotted it home to win the title
The delay definitely seems to get to him. That seemed like a conscious tactic from them yesterday. Same as the Cup Final. It’s weird but pretty much all of Haalands missed penalties, I felt he would miss. It’s kind of written on his face when he is going to miss.
Nowt to do with Pep. Just discussing a important part of the game; )Loving the expertise on here. Give Pep / Erling a bell. They’ll love your pearls of wisdom
I've always thought that.t would have been Marios real moment at CityBalotelli was cool as a cucumber. Don't recall him ever missing one.
