It really is unfathomable how any supposed football writer can vote for someone other than our Striking Viking. To come into the hardest league in the world and to a team that is notoriously difficult to integrate to and absolutely smash records right, left and centre is truly staggering. Yes, others have had good seasons and deserve praise but to vote against this guy clearly shows a level of bias that is off the scale.
There are many blues in our own player of the year thread who are voting for others other than Erling.
It’s utterly baffling.

Just sums up the state of football journalism in 2023.You’ve got to worry about a person who voted for Rashford for any other reasons than shithousery. I can accept that but if someone actually thinks he’s had a better year than the Nordic meat shield then it’s a massive worry.
