Some of you Johnny-come-latelies are probably unaware of Albert Juliussen's record in this regard.
In March 1947 Juliussen was playing for Dundee in the Scottish league and Dundee won two consecutive games 10-0. The player scored six in the first of those and seven in the next.
He moved to Portsmouth and later Everton, but couldn't replicate his success down here.
I doubt anyone will top that. Yet bizarrely, very few will know his name. Who knows, Erling might do even better.....
