I was doing some reading of stats for the Messi thread, and I have to say that Mbappé is a shocking presser in terms of output. I assume that it's all tactical and the manager has given the green light, but he makes Messi look like a workhorse.

I only have stats for PSG and not France. Maybe it's different with those guys.

I know it's never going to happen , unfortunately, but why not go for both? Why could PSG buy both Neymar and Mbappe and we could not? All the big clubs have long since broken the 100 million euro barrier for a player. I may have played too much football manager in the past but Haaland for example at 80,90 million plus give up Sancho's 15 percent, Mbappe at 130 million let's say plus Mahrez. Disagree , this is the one the club have to get right and money will be found to get the right player.

PSG signed Neymar but then had Mbappe on loan for one season with a guarantee to buy the following season. They did that to get past FFP.

Problem with Mbappe is that his wages would be astronomical, which would mean we would need to offer KDB a much higher wage package. Haaland would probably accept something inline with our top bracket wages and seems to be a more realistic target. But one thing we've learnt about Peps transfer, they're always a surprise. So I wouldn't be surprised if we actually didn't sign either, and instead bought someone like Kane for a large amount.

I’d like either and would prefer Mbappe, we don’t need either. If we weren’t to get either we’d get somebody else and be fine.
