Because none of them ever got as close as Haaland is about to get while on English soil. Ronaldo's highest-scoring season in England is 42, Suarez's 31, Salah's is 44. There was never any chance of them catching Dixie Dean so the media never thought about bringing it up. It speaks volumes about how good Haaland has been that an apparently unbeatable record is under threat.I find two things quite odd.

And the bigger one is his total of 350+ goals is never mentioned when discussing the overall goal records in which Shearer and Kane are top. Surely if his tital in all competitions in one season is relevant, then his overall total is as well.

Pretty sure I'm right in saying there is now only one man in the entire history of top flight English football that has scored more competitive goals in a season than Erling Haaland.
