Do you want City to ban Half & Half Scarves

I've often thought there should be some form of neutral section at every ground. Years back I went to watch City v Birmingham at Maine Road and took along a mate who supported Birmingham. Same year I went to Leeds to watch us with friends who were Leeds fans. Can't say either was entirely comfortable, when it's something that people should really be able to do. Think it'd possible be worse now though due to the issues with 3rd party sellers etc.

There's not enough "live and let live" in the world today. We're now at the point where anything we dont like needs to be banned, regardless of whether other people might like it, and it being harmless.
 
It's modern football and people believing they to have something to show that 'they were there'. Half and half scarves are no more than a 'prop' for FOMO tourists and one-off fans to use on their selfies on social media.

It's a nice souvenir for kids, but adults...? They're just morons with smartphones.

All 'top' clubs will be the same, they won't give a shit who sits where or what colours they're wearing as long as they spend their money, behave themselves, and bugger off at the end of the game.

Genuinely passionate football supporters are a dying breed. The traditional game that we grew up with and loved is dead in the water.

Neutral sections are common abroad, especially in tourist areas where there are a lot of walk-up fans. At the end of the day the more tickets we sell the better. Perhaps the new larger capacity with the North Stand will give us a bit of wriggle room as long as the tickets are not too expensive.

Agree with this entirely. The only part I'd add, is that 'behaving themselves' possibly has a different definition for the club and for proper supporters of the club.

Loads of these fans dont seem to have a clue how their behaviour looks to the other fans, and that they're risking annoying the wrong person sometimes. The away fans who sneak in using it as a 'disguise' and the stand around gloating and antagonising real City fans.... wouldn't have lasted 5 seconds 20 years ago. All that could be managed by stewards, regardless of the scarves.

I'm from the era when wearing a City scarf eliminated the chance of getting beaten up by both sets of fans, and increased the likelihood of getting backed up by fellow Blues if there was any bother.

Whenever I went in the home section at away games, I always kept my colours well hidden insude the ground, sat on my hands and kept my mouth shut.

These half and half idiots in home sections are either totally naive or looking for trouble.
 
Oh dear. Absolutely no empathy for those who want one? I took our daughter to her very first City game a few years ago and she was a Barca supporter as well as City and she still has it on her wall as a reminder. What happened to choice? Don’t want one don’t buy one. They can be, like our daughter, a reminder of a great day out. (She now lives in NZ and still follows both clubs - but mostly City. :). )

Buy one but dont wear it at the match?
Like lots have said buy a programme as a memento you could have a quality scarf from each club and hang them together lets face it the half and half scarves are tat
