In my view Half and Half scarves are abhorrent and from what I see in comments for many others to, Spurs have banned them and also WHU for the game at the London stadium last weekend

Ive spoken to a few stewards about them and they also dislike seeing them as a potential safety issue, being an option for away fans to wear their colors when sat in the home areas

I decided to write to the club to see if they could consider banning them, for the very least for high-profile games but, preferably permanently. I thought my appeal to them would carry more weight if, I could quote a poll

Please vote as you see fit
Hahaha. Are you serious? Write to the club ffs

Im gonna confess, I bought a city v juventus half and half when we played them in the europa league.
I thinking was if this all goes tits up at least I can remind myself in years to come that I was there!

But yeah I agree ban the fuckers!

Why can’t the street sellers sell individual scarves in the club colours of each club, with e.g. Manchester City V West Ham 2025/2026 along with the respective club logos. City fans e.g. buy blue one and West Ham fans a maroon one but not half/half for those who want to buy a momento of the match. Is that too simplistic?

If City banned half & half scarfs it would put the half & half hawkers around the Etihad Campus out of business. OK, the hawkers would move on to normal City scarfs, which most of us don’t have an issue with.

You can just imagine it can’t you.

The new home end /NSL2 with (City?) football fans wearing half and half scarfs next year.

Can't be that simplistic, don't know what you are on about.

It's just the way of the world now, if no one buys them, they will stop making them. There must be a demand tho.
All I know, is if me and the Mrs went on a city break to Milan and it was derby weekend and I got tickets, I would 100% get a half and half scarf.

They were everywhere last Wednesday and I took it as a nod to the fact they were playing a great team.
Different culture over there.

Good grief big brother has taken over.
No one tells me what I can wear either to a match or to an event. If I were an employee and there was a strict uniform policy fair enough but in my leisure time I wear what I want. In fact I’m now tempted to wear a half and half scarf at my next match. :-)

Yeeesss my rebellious days are not over!! :-) ;-):

I certainly am not incensed when I see a half half scarf.
What about a City fan wearing no colours, should they be refused entry?
Say a fan inadvertently is wearing a coloured top that is the same as the away team, ban them ?
It really doesn't matter, I would rather have a tooth pulled than own one, but for a tourist spending a grand on a trip to Manchester and a game, and buy a souvenir of the trip, who cares.

As for the West Ham owners, have you been to that stadium, do you think they care about West Ham fans, worst Stadium in the Premier League.
Many pubs in Town don’t let people in with colours on. So, many people at the game don’t wear colours for that reason.

If someone is willing to pay to have the words MAN UNITED in red+black or LIVERPOOL in red+white draped around their necks at a City game when we are playing against those teams who we fucking despise, shows that they aren’t true City fans and are taking the place in the ground of people who wouldn’t be caught dead in such filth.
