stunned, dazed and still can't quite believe it!!
Went to the Palace theatre last night to watch this, we’d booked tickets for my parents as a Xmas present for them and can honestly say it was absolutely superb. Not one for musicals normally but bloody loved this.
Brilliant performance by all especially the guy who played the British king.

Highly recommend it to anyone who’s been thinking of it.

I was there last Friday, I’ve been wanting to see it for ages but was always too expensive until recently. Definitely up there with the better musicals I’ve seen. It’s different… you’d think 18th century US politics and hip hop weren’t a great combination but they proved me wrong in that respect.

Also really enjoyed Book of Mormon, just for the experience of going to see it with my wife who’s family are Mormons from Africa.

I saw it last month and couldn't make out half of the lyrics. Nonetheless, it was a fun show

Great show the daughter was obsessed with it so i took her there years ago - very enjoyable

I saw it on its first US tour a few years ago. I enjoyed it, but it’s far from the greatest thing I’ve seen at the theatre.
What would you say the greatest thing was?

I enjoy comedic musicals (A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, The Book of Mormon) but aside for about half of Into The Woods, I have found few that do much but irritate me, and in some cases (Cats, Phantom of the Opera) I downright destested them. That said, South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut is a movie that is technically a musical (cf. Book of Mormon, written by Parker and Stone too) so if that counts I like that too.

I too, usually hate the ‘big musicals’, Les Mis, Phantom, Rent etc I don’t care if I never see them again.

Off the top of my head, in recent years, I’d say Book of Mormon, Matilda, Something Rotten are all better than Hamilton. There’s also plenty of the classics that are far better too, West Side Story, Hello Dolly, My Fair Lady.

The single best thing I’ve ever seen is the stage adaptation of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, which was absolutely outstanding.

I love Hamilton; lots of great songs (and clever lyrics) & it's a reminder of how hard & short life used to be ... and how important it is to some people to be powerful & remembered after their death.
But also a story about love, marriage, parenthood, etc.
Went down to London to see it when it first came over here.
