2 years seems an odd sort of contract, has he had injuries and we're giving him a chance to get over them?

Not sure about his injuries but he seems promising full of energy agile and a good passing player, can't go wrong with these type of signings and the sentiment with spurs fans is they should've done more to keep him.

2 years might suit both parties he gets to learn at the greatest academy with best coaches and players potentially, maybe he's been told if he impresses enough CFG opportunities or an improved contract will be on the way.
