Hangover cures, what's your remedy?

If they are that bad I would buy some of the hangover remedies from the chemist. I have tried them out and they really seem to work.

The only thing that works for me is to have a berocca, get out of the house and eat as soon as possible even if I don't want to

Sun lolly or any other sugary ice lolly.

Water to rehydrate.
Ice to cool your temperature down.
Sugar to replace any you've lost.

Works a charm!

Do they still do them? I've been looking for them for ages, just assumed they'd stopped making them. All I can ever find are 'Jubblys' which are fucking shit.

Nothing stops hangovers. Nothing you can do before during or after. Nothing the next day other than paracetamol will help numb the pain but your liver is already having a shit fit at that time so thats not great either.
Sugar will stop the shakes as your glycogen levels have dropped through your ass after the spike in them from alcohol the night before

Replace lost salts

Rehydration sachets, usually used for treating diarrhoea, can speed recovery from a hangover. This is because they contain small amounts of body salts (electrolytes) that replace lost fluids quicker than water alone. Mix one sachet with water and drink before you go to bed, then do the same the morning after. Isotonic sports drinks also contain these salts.

Berocca tablets may help to replace nutrients lost after a drinking session. The effervescent tablets contain vitamins B, C, calcium and magnesium.

Replacing lost salts is not a CURE

When I get back I eat 2 bananas, drink as much water as I can and take a super strength multi vitamin tablet.

...and have a wank.

A Scotsman once recommended Irn Bru from a glass bottle as a cure for a hangover but he was drunk at the time.

Not sure if this helps.

Replacing lost salts is not a CURE

It helps though as it rehydrates you faster than just drinking plain water.

There's hardly any sodium in most cream soda. Gatorade is full of it. Anyway, the only cure for a hangover id staying asleep until it's gone.
