Hangover Prevention Pill Has Gone On Sale:

Years ago I went on holiday and a GP was in the group. She said if she got pissed, she went into her surgery half an hour earlier than normal and put herself on a drip.

It sobered her up in no time she said, and I had no reason to disbelieve her.
You can procure that service - I imagine it is eye wateringly expensive mind........

If it breaks down the alcohol surely it’s just stopping you getting pissed rather than curing the hangover? So you might as well just not drink and save yourself the beer money?

Great news for all drunk drivers.

20% of drunk driving arrests happen the morning after drinking, so this could be great for stopping those.

Take the pills before you go to bed, or as soon as you wake up, and it'd sober you up before you got in the car.

As I don't consume the devils brew I am saving money all round. The evils of alcohol will ensure you have a long and painful after life. Repent all ye sinners before it's too late.

When I was a student I was good friends with a trainee doctor and she said exactly the same thing. I think there’s a fair bit of truth to it.

Also, the group of trainee doctors I knew were by far the biggest wreck heads.
