Whenever I watch highlights, I always think that Gillingham are going to get the free kick.


Strangely, there’s a similar moment just before the Aguero goal when Nasri allows the ball to run out of play, only for QPR to get the throw-in.


How on earth did Nasri know that City were going to score the most iconic Premier League goal of all time, from a QPR set piece?

Because he saw that Nedum was going to take the throw-in

That's just how it was for most of us older sods at the time. When I calmed down after Dickov's equaliser my first thought was "oh shit, now we've got another 30 minutes to fuck this up again."

Took my 2 lads with me, first time for both of them at Wembley and I remember thinking what a shit hole it was,it was a day of contrasting emotions but what a fantastic way to win promotion, never ever forget that day.
