Happy 2nd anniversary. 1-6

My favourite derby ever!! From the shell shocked Gary Neville afterwards to the cocky Rags before hand. This truly was the day the tide turned. The rags had not been beaten on their own patch for over a year in the premier league, they were favourites I'm sure before the game and I know the lad I was sat with was confident of a United victory before hand.

The last 5 minutes esp were up there because it was a realise of the strangle hold they had over us as a team. I love the empty seats, I love the pictures of the scoreboard, I love the fact that Edin ran out of fingers to symbolise the score line, I love the close ups of the distraught rags at the end, I live the fact that Hart was so cool at the end despite death threats from individuals in the crowd, I love the fact that Silva made THAT pass, I live the fact that the huge victory gave us the goal difference to win the league, I love the fact that rags went into hiding at work, I love the fact that it hurt GPC so much, I love the sick swan jokes, I love the fact that I was privledged to do the Fanzone that day, I loved the fact that they scored to give the hope before we crushed it so emphatically . A perfect day where Manchester City made every fan stand up and take notice, still makes me smile
You sir are a legend and your fanzone has gone on my facebook page today to celebrate.
TAKE IT BOBBY CHARLTON.

Great post, but the best image of a rag that day was when the third went in and he could be seen standing up, putting on his coat and saying something along the lines of "I've had enough of this shit"
It's on the OS highlights. In fact I'm sure someone made a gif of it.

This is my fave you van see the sneaky Irish top underneath. Look at the pain on his face I reckon the Irish Samaritans line got a hammering that week

Has anybody tweeted wio with happy Anniversary?

I have...

"@rioferdy5 happy 2nd anniversary Wio, me old mucker. May today forever live on in your memory #SickSwan"

That morning Ferdinand tweeted that he was 'like a kid on Christmas Morning' Seriously.

By tea time Santa had smashed the window, left him a stocking full of coal, drunk all the brandy, pissed on the tree and fucked his mum in front of him.

I was tweeting him for days after that. The arrogance of the prick to say that before a derby, he thought they were gonna stuff us and supposedly put in our place again. Needless to say he didn't tweet again for a few days after that 1

A day I will never forget . That season was full of drama for City . We should never forget beating the scum 1-6 .
