Happy 93.20 Day…

I downloaded the whole 90 mins of Fox Soccer's broadcast as well as Sky's and still keep watching it every anniversary.

I remember it well. I was in a pub in Eastbourne and couldn't get a ticket to go to the game (went to seven games in the league that season, with our 4-0 opener against Swansea being the first, obviously), and was with a few other City fans watching round the pool table, while the United fans were outnumbering us and were in the main area.

We were all pissed off, thinking we blew it and did this against a team fighting for their place in the league, but we got one back then that amazing moment happened at 93:20.

The Rags twats all went out of the pub completely sickened not believing what has just happened in Fergie Time and us lot round the pool table just lost our shit, before one of the bar ladies told us to calm down!.

After the trophy lift, I got a round of drinks in to celebrate and apologized to the bar maid, only for her to say we were not doing any harm at the end of the day, and would rather have us in the pub week in week out than a bunch of United rags.

That day I knew no matter what happened to MCFC from here, we have won the biggest trophy in club football, in the most famous moment ever. Nobody can take that away from us I said, and it felt beautiful. MCFC have finally landed on the Premier League map.

Quality. What a great bunch of fans they are. Hope they go up.
You hear idiots say "I bet Fergie is laughing now Sunderland are in League One".

I bet he is not, I bet he's still fuming and he said not long after he won't ever forget it.

What a way to wind them up, that day shown how many cannot stand the rags

City got the clock countdown spot on 3 mins 18 in.
Then to finish it off with You sir are awesome.
Just brilliant.

I, like everyone else at Etihad that day, I’d imagine, was emotionally drained on the way back to the car.

We had to take our 2 1/2 year old grandson back to York, and we stopped at a takeaway to buy some chips near home.

As I came out, upon seeing my City shirt, a passer-by said, "Congratulations to Manchester City on winning the League".

I simply replied, "Thank you".
