Most turnstiles used to have an old boy outside who'd ask how old you were, was amazing the number of 13 year olds who used to attend Maine Rd. 14 year olds were full price IIRC?There only looks about two people under 30 in that ‘juniors’ queue aswell.
At that last match saying goodbye to Maine Road I was sat near an old chap whose dad (died about 1990 I think he said) had been at Hyde Road and the first Maine Road match. Mentioned bygone days out in Blackpool to him which set him off reciting "Albert and the Lion" while play was going on.Was there anyone who went to both the first and last games at Maine Road?
