I don’t ever remember seeing him being at the eithad and taking a huge round of applause happy birthday Alan.

He`s far too modest for that sort of thing.

One of my favourite memories is sitting on the metal frame of the Kippax which was pretty much in line with the deadball line, as Alan smacked a 25 yard screamer against Athletico Bilbao and see it hitting the back of the net. Good Times.
