Probably one of the two finest City centre halves I have seen over a 60+year period of watching the Lads, him and Vinny.
DW had everything in his locker with speed, heading, tackling, vision and a true leader, just like Vinny.

Loved Tony Currie playing.for England (centre).
He should have played Again and Again but didn't get as many caps as his talent deserved.

Very true though; England had some great maverick players at that time: Tony Currie, Stan Bowles, Rodney Marsh, Frank Worthington etc...loved watching those fellows play. At least the few highlights that we got back in Ireland in the '70's...;)
