Happy Birthday Legend .....imagine him in this team :)

Some people on the transfer forum would be upset if we had him in his prime in this team as he only cost 2m and not 45m

Don't think he would get anywhere near the team mate.

You honestly believe he was better than silva? A player who left city when he was 25 and achieved very little in his football career was a better footballer than silva who has won pretty much everything in the game (apart from the champions league) and has been one of the key players in the current city team?

Do you rate all football players by their ability to get past phil bardsley?

Don't get me wrong mate,georgi was a good player in a shit side but dav is on a different level,70 odd caps for probably the best side the world as seen for the last God knows how many years,watch next season how brilliant David Silva is,we don't call him Merlin for nothing.

I can only hope that silva can match gio's achievements. Hopefully his career can reach the heights of being relegated twice in three seasons, and playing for derby :-)

I think your problem is you are looking back with rose tinted goggles. He was undoubtly a good city player and was the one ray of sunshine in those 3 terrible years but there is no way he was the quality of our current side. To say he would play instead of silva is one of the most ridiculous things I've read on this forum.

I would put bernarbia ahead of gio and silva is head and shoulders above both of them.
