Happy Clappers

That's a completely artificial example. Most of the so-called happy clappers are realists: class is permanent (under Pep), form is temporary.

I was saying we were going to win the title back in December 2020 when we were midtable. It seemed that I was naive or deluded. Guess what, I was right and the miserable cunts weren't.
Another one taking things too seriously, it was a light hearted analogy. Relax a little bit.

We’re having a bad spell - probably a genuine transition period (unlike some teams who are always in transition as an excuse for their poor management); we have lost the worlds best player for the season (after the transfer window closed); we have had 3 defenders out at the same time (Ake, Akanje & Stones) plus Dias was out for a while; we have had Foden & Kovacic out for weeks; & Doku & Jack are clearly not fully fit but having to play.
NO TEAM IN EUROPE could cope without all these players - many of whom have been out at the same time.

Why are fans complaining about the everything instead of understanding & supporting?

It’s shit but it’s fact. Things will get better; we’ll use the transfer window to help & players will come back, helping the “older” players to cope.

Complaining because it is a city forum where city related topics are discussed. 1 win in 10 is quite big on that agenda. The players are well supported at matches, more than they deserve this season so you cannot fault the fans. We are entitled to call out crap performances. Our recruitment being pathetic for the last few years adds to that frustration because yes, we have a depleted squad, but better recruitment could have avoided that. We said for years we a re a Rordi injury away from a crisis yet here we are. We allow an Alvarez to leave with no replacement. It is really poor considering we have some of the best people in the game running the show. The team will always have our support on match day. They aren't immune from criticism outside of that

Some seem to revel in unhappiness sadly.
Some were unhappy when we were winning titles , we have plenty of those weirdos in our fan base, we always have.

But even the happy clappers should be pissed off at this time, this is far more than a "dip"

It’s frustrating watching City at the moment and we’re all rightly disappointed with the results, but I can’t agree with the anger that some people are showing. This group of players should be cut more slack than any other group ever, nobody has ever done what they’ve done in English football. There’s a reason nobody has done four in a row before, and the physical and mental toll it’s took on the players is there for all to see. The squad needs a refresh clearly, but we’ve still got some fantastic players in my opinion, and the best manager in the world who just need to get their mojo back, they will do eventually I’m sure.

If that makes me a happy clapper, then I guess I’ll clap away.
