I was there that day. never felt so happy. Was in the Stretford End Paddock which was between the players tunnel (this was on the half way line in those days) and the stretford end.Me and my mate was surrounded by rags, but I still went mental when Law scored. My mate was grabbing hold of me telling me to shut up your gonna get us killed. Anyway we survived.
Went to work on the Monday, working on the construction of The Arndale Centre and wearing my City hat, which didn't go down well with all the Irish workers on the site. Rubbed it in all week.

I was in the Rag Road paddock but a couple of mates were in the Stretford End. I was quite relieved when they got back to the bus as one was alcoholically disadvantaged and had spent the journey to the ground regaling rags on the bus about pubs near second division grounds.
