You have to forget the tradional concept of money
The Happy Mondays are to reform for series of big shows in the summer.

The band were waiting to get all the original members in place including Rowetta.

This is a proper full reformation of the band and it will be great to see some of the long lost members back in action. In a year that has seen the Stone Roses reformation we need these old folk heroes back.

Official confirmation should follow soon

Sadly, it would probably just be a retread of the populist Pills, Thrills era hits rather than the much superior music they made in the Bummed and Squirrel & G Man years

three weeks ago, Ryder's brother said ''no chance'' to him being there.... we shall see!

I'll have some of that! Was at the Free Trade Hall gig years ago before we all hit the Hacienda for the afterparty. What a night!

One of my favourite songs of all time...and i'm not even a big Mondays fan. The bass line and the funky guitar lick just (to me) typify Manchester. Scallies from Salford who can hardly play coming out with this. Fucking top.
