I have adopted his statement - but it refers to them. As an octogenarian I have a fair few years left in me to enjoy St Beneathus DaysNot in my lifetime.
So glad he's still around to witness us finishing above his shitstain of a club season after season.
He has spent his life slagging off the Bears for selling him. He says its because he married a Catholic, Rangers fans tell me it was because he was shit and unworthy of the jersey. Don't imagine he gives a shit about the rags anymore than I care about the bus company I drove for. The more the rags fail the more his legend grows. Like Busby before him he has god like status among the rags, but no reason to suppose he returns the affection. The bitter soul must be wounded inside.
Not only have City dominated the League since he retired, the "noisy neighbours" have won the Champions League.
City have also resigned supreme for that decade at Youth level, which was his pet project whilst manager at Aberdeen & the Swamp.
The Dippers have also won the League since he retired, which will also annoy the pisscan.
I would imagine he also despises Sir Scruffy Jim, as he took away his side job salary and status. The Glazers cleverly kept the GPC onside, whilst Sir Scruff obviously sees him as an unnecessary has-been.
Oh, Glasgow Rangers are shit as well...
You may be correct about his current feelings for the Trafford Tramps, as he is now seen as unnecessary and redundant by Scruffy Jim.He has spent his life slagging off the Bears for selling him. Bit late this year but I'll accept it.
