My and my sons who were young slept the sleep of the saved after we trousered Robinho. Thank God we didn't get Berbatoss. No glamour.
I’d forgotten that A&E joined Everton on that day too.
I remember where I was when I heard Elvis had died and John Lennon too, though I’m too young to remember JFK's assassination. Those of my generation will remember exactly where we were when the news came that JFK had been assassinated and also when Elvis died. The takeover was exactly the same.
Exactly.....Those of my generation will remember exactly where we were when the news came that JFK had been assassinated and also when Elvis died. The takeover was exactly the same.
'Twas ever thus.“It’ll all end in tears.”
Still might, mind.
Wouldn’t be City if it wasn’t a distinct possibility at all times.'Twas ever thus.

Here's an interesting coincidence (or maybe not).
JFK was shot on my Mum's birthday, when she was expecting my first sister.
RFK was shot on Dad's birthday, when Mum was expecting my second sister.
And they both died the same number of days before my sisters were born.
Wow. Amazing coincidences.
