Happy York (A) day

I don't recall it being a very 'happy' day, in truth.... :D

At least i'm honest about it. I must be one of the three Blues who didn't go; just a young lad listening to Century FM with Gary Owen commentating, on my Morphy Richards radio....good times.

Remember going in the pub for the next home game. A lad I know was moaning about the trip to York and how he was going to sack off the away games. I was thinking his dedication was brilliant until I found out over the years there were hundreds of thousands there

If only we'd had Viagogo then, maybe I'd have made it. I was 436,781st in the phone queue but they sold out 2 people ahead of me as there was a family over from Spain who bought the last tickets

I’m one of the other 2

December 19th 1998 saw a fairly obscure game take place at Bootham Crescent. I feel that very few people know about this game and it's not really got the recognition it deserves.
I was there at that match, like thousands of others, I wasn’t really:) but I really was at Colin Bell’s comeback match in December 1977 and at the Ipswich Dave Watson ‘77 header match and at the Charlton ‘85 match, the ones every man and his dog seem to have gone to:)
