Just got in, so what's the latest on Kaka?

Any more rumours about Villa or any other transfers?

Can't be arsed looking through all the other threads.

Cheers.

Cheers, interesting read that, it's good we're making progress with other signings as well as Kaka.

aye ... i reckon kaka - villa - de jong - keeper - and 2 defenders, would turn our season around significantly

D'ya think? It bloody better! I swear, if we do sign Kaka (and the rest) there really is no excuse whatsoever. I would expect (realistically or otherwise) us to charge up the table. I think ADUG might agree with me on that too.

Night mate, think i'm gonna get off as well, only a short stay tonight, see you tomorrow people.

Despite their spending power, Manchester City boss Mark Hughes insists they won't be held to ransom in the transfer market.

If West Ham feel they can go on pushing the price higher by rejecting offers for Craig Bellamy and Blackburn are seriously waiting for an offer from the Blues for Roque Santa Cruz that would 'blow them out of the water', they might be disappointed.

"Maybe Manchester City will always be asked for a premium from this point onwards," said Hughes.

"But we place a value on players and we stick to them. If clubs ask for too great a premium that is their choice.

"I guarantee if the value is not good for Manchester City, we will walk away."
