He is just back in training now ,having recovered from it, apparently.

most players get over the cruciate nowadays.
It does sound a risk for that kind of money. He's only 24 though so if he passes a medical we can expect he will make a full recovery. The surgery etc nowadays is a million times better than the likes of Lake and certainly Bell will have had.
