There really is a huge disconnect between his story and the Police's version of events. In fact, it's the polar opposite. He's saying that the Police assaulted him and his friends and then fabricated a story about him mouthing off and offering them money. It seems inconceivable to me that a Greek court will believe him over the Greek Police, without some very strong evidence to the contrary.

He's going to need all of his friends, family and girlfriend to totally back him up. If it is a lie, then that's putting a lot of trust/pressure on them all and they don't strike me as the most streetwise bunch. I'm certain that if video evidence that exonerated him/them existed, we'd have seen it by now.
