Assault on the police is usually custodial if guilty but checking Greek law he could get a suspended and immediately deported. Be buggered though if the silly sod goes back to play any Greek clubs they may draw in Europe.

8.2.4. If an alien - who has not been granted political asylum by the Greek State - is punished with a main custodial sentence not exceeding 5 years and with a supple- mentary sentence of expulsion from the country, the court may order (a) the sus- pension of the custodial penalty for an indefinite period and (b) his/her immediate expulsion. The expelled person may enter the country only after the lapse of 5 years, and if the Minister of Justice permits it. If the said alien enters the country illegally, he/she shall be punished by imprisonment of 2 - 5 years and he/she shall also serve cumulatively the time of the suspended sentence (paras 2-4 of art.99 PC).
 
One can only hope Woodward is charged with securing his release, with his negotiating skills harry will be looking at a 5 stretch.

Just off the phone to a friend of a friend who reps in Mykonos. Gave some details on #harrymaguire incident.
Said Maguire was attacked from behind on Wednesday night so he went to defend himself.
Trouble is, by the time he’d turned around, it was Friday morning & he hit an innocent bystander..
