For 50 million and above? Yes really, use Stones and Laporte. Let the scouts fucking find someone below that price tag and earn their money on finding hiding gems and have Garcia and Mangala as back-up. When we found someone with the required talents get him. But not on Maquire, which even Pep acknowledged how slow and poor this guy is (in the city documentary). Why the f. should we always focus on just one guy.
 
I'm all for boiling piss with transfer fees and what not but £90m for Maguire would be disgusting.

It’s just the board is awash with Maguire now being the second coming and it’s based loosely on Pep allegedly wanting him...

Personally wouldn’t touch him, he’s excellent on the front foot and obviously dominant aerially, however he’d be suspect in our back line for all the reasons already mentioned..... anyway, I’m no Pep

Have you any clue what is happening behind the scenes or are you just having a hissy fit because we may be looking at someone who doesn't appeal to you? I have a hunch its not the former.

All our CB's have a tendency to flap like a tap dancers fanny at times mate. Maguire would fit right in !

You're describing yourself here. You do not have any clue behind the scenes and are projecting it. Talking about hypocrisy. You seems to rate him. I don't. And I would definitely do not want City to spend that amount of money on him.

I dont score any targets mate till they are playing for us and we can offer an informed opinion
 
Think he a very good player and with pep managing him he become even better but fee 75m seems the going rate! No one new how really good vvd was until he went to Liverpool even a lot people on here plus the discussion in the Amazon documentary saying 75m was ridicules fee! Look what would of happened if we bought vvd liverpool wouldnt of been even competing for trophies.

No you're a hissy fit then. I'm just giving my opinion in all calmness mate. Hopefully Maquire will never be a city player and city should focus on someone else.

Since when can you see someone's tonation, face and body expression, behind some words, but you can whinge on of course if that's more your thing.

Well the media are all over Maguire being Peps No1 CB target this morning.....

Hopefully, Maguire, his agent & Leicester think we are desperate and price him

at a level that makes the Matthijs de Ligt or another CB a far stronger prospect.

Im still hoping that's Peps already bought Nathan Ake for 15 million and sent him

out to Anderlecht for his pre-preseason training

I like Harry, but I won't pay 99 million for him. Frankly, I won't pay 99 million for any defender period!
