As far as Winks goes then he fits the style & would be home grown if we do lose Bernardo or Gundagun in 2021 or both??

Pep has always thrown a suprise & with Grealish price way way to much then Winks is a plan B allowing a Plan A elsewhere

Mendy is the only actual left back in that group and he has had regular fitness issues. I really hope we invest in a left back this summer, we’ve got by with limited contributions in attack from left back in previous seasons but it was an issue this year.

Considering we regularly play inverted wingers we need our full backs to give us width especially against parked buses and only Mendy gives us that. Zinchenko had a pretty poor season after a decent one last year and does look like kicking on. We will have a lot of matches with limited recovery time this season so 2 players per position is a must.
