That's sad news for the lad, missing the Champions League Q-Final and possibly further when he's been our best player. I see the BBC reported his injury as a result of a 'challenge' by Mata, a bloomin hack at him more like, but hey don't let the facts get in the way!

I don't think it helped he stayed on for a minute or two and ended up trying to chase someone back.

In past years Joe's distribution was dreadful. But maybe that was because of how the manager wanted him to play.

This year, Joe's distribution has gone up tremendously.

I've no problem with Joe in goal at all - one of our best players this season. Top 10 keeper in the world this year for me.

Can't say Iv'e seen much improvement in his distribution this season and IMO, still looks uncomfortable with crosses coming in.

Indeed. Did the physio come on? He definitely ran around after that clutching his groin. The end was inevitable. His time will come and many a naysayer will have cause to reflect.
